Octocopter Adventures – Chasing Ships In The Dark [Video]

Today was the last day the seaway was open so I spent a good portion of my day out filming ships..

This is the CSL TADOUSSAC which came through Alexandria Bay around 6:30pm tonight..

This mission goes under the (high risk/high stress) category.. high risk for my Octocopter and high stress for me..

The Octo starts out at the Bonnie Castle Boat Launch.. flys out to the ship as it passes Boldt Castle.. then makes its way back.. never really getting too close..

And for the record.. no.. I can’t see what it sees.. I am just flying line of sight here.. keeping track of the orientation of the craft.. and judging distance the best I can..
