Dock Progress (Pictures)
Yesterday (March 14th, 2010) I had Abay Paparazzi take a few pictures of the Main Village Dock which is being worked on..
Below is a little more information on the progress as reported by the T.I. Sun.
WD. Bach is doing the work.
Steel Pilings are being drove 40-84 feet into the river bed.
A seperate crew is working on the decking off site.. 300 or so feet of it.
The old disintegrated concrete will be removed once permanent supports are in place..
The Mayor says the rehabilitation should be completed by the end of April.
We have a live cam on the Village Docks as well.
BTW: We still need $260 to order a new higher quality dock camera..
I can’t order it until I have all the money. The camera hardware and waterproof outdoor enclosure I have chosen are going to cost $550.00.
The camera has an optical zoom of 60x so we should be able to get a hell of a view from the Skiffs building. It should also be very very clear.
So far $290.00 have been raised.
So if anyone wants to donate follow the link below..

And please remember we’re doing this because people requested it. I don’t make enough money off the live cams to improve things like this without donations to the project.
